Conference.balkanswine.eu is the website for the first international conference of the Balkan International Wine Competition (BIWC)—an event themed “Balkan Wine 2040 – Vision & Perspective.” The main goal of the site is to present the conference as a key platform for dialogue among top winemakers, marketers, sommeliers, and business leaders from the region who are setting the direction for the development of Balkan wine over the next 15 years. The project is aimed at both wine professionals and wine enthusiasts from the Balkans and around the world, with a focus on topics such as climate change, indigenous grape varieties, wine tourism, and the global position of Balkan wines.
